THE BLUE LINE - 1 x 45 minutes

Synopsis:
THE BLUE LINE - 1 x 45 minutes

For a period of 20 months, filmmakers Gwenaelle Bron and Peggy Frey, travel around the world to meet people at various bodies of water to see how their lives are impacted by the most essential element known as water.  In this film, we learn that while water is scarce in the desert areas and dangerous in flood prone areas, it is vital everywhere for health, energy and agriculture. In Africa, while the stagnant water is threatening to one's health and can kill, there are those 'Masters of Water' who worship the God of Water, sacrificing animals to protect themselves against evil spirits. In Asia, problems related to draining of lands and overpopulation in big cities presents major challenges. In the Middle East, we learn about the geopolitical consequences of sharing water.  But as a 'Blue Line', molecules of water are the same in every territory of the world and the film shows that we all have to preserve this vital element.
