An amazing story about the only established mobile elephant hospital in the world today. We follow a group of veterinarians who tour the jungles of Thailand to rescue and cure both domesticated and wild elephants. Bjarne Clausen and Dr. Preecha travel the country in a specially designed van, equipped with the necessary medical equipment, to search out and treat wounded or sick elephants. With the mission of saving this endangered species, the mobile clinic is 'on the road' for three weeks of each month, often fighting time, authorities and hostile gunmen protecting illegal logging.
