Meet the "stunt trainees" as they learn movie stunts from some of the best and most experienced stunt professionals in the world. Watch the trainees develop Hollywood stunt skills including fight choreography, tumbling, high falls, fire burns, motorcycling, diving, rappelling, weapon use and more.
Viewers and participants alike will learn tips and tricks from the stunt professionals who have worked with some of the biggest Hollywood stars. Our male and female trainees are put through the paces with dangerous and spectacular stunts, pushing themselves beyond their normal comfort zones.
Episode 1:
The trainees arrive from different countries (Australia, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, UK and USA) and are immediately immersed in this intensive adventure course. Many are very unfit and inexperienced. The stunt academy is very concerned that some may not be able to handle these challenges. This week the course focuses on Basic Training in Tumbling, Fights, Rappelling and Acting. The participants complete a spectacular Bar Room Brawl to give them the feeling of actual Stunt work, a scene worthy of their personal Showreels. Will our thrill-seekers manage to conquer their fear and complete the training to qualify as stunt professionals? Anything could happen! Welcome to the Danger Zone!
Episode 2:
As the Stunt Trainees continue with their rigorous stunt skills development, many are starting to question whether they have what it takes to become a Professional Stunt Performer. It is much harder than they thought. This week they learn much more demanding and difficult skills including High Falls, Car Stunts, Motorcycling, Sword Fighting and Trampolining. Some of these demanding training schedules cause personality pressures and some breakdown in tears. The tutors offer their opinions about each trainee’s development, skills, and character. Some are not performing up to scratch and are told so. The action scene takes place in an abandoned Railway tunnel as they battle with Weapons and use all their newly acquired skills to defeat their opponents.
Episode 3:
This is the Final Week of extraordinary Training in the dangerous world of movie stunts. These talented cast members are now well on their way to becoming Stunt All-rounders, ready for Hollywood! The most hazardous of the stunt skills have been saved until this week, hoping the trainees are ready for things like, High Falls, Fire Burns, Gun Handling, Jerk Backs and Car Hits. Many of these trainees have risen to the occasion, throwing caution to the wind this final week, as they attempt these very dangerous stunt skills to impress the tutors and get great footage for their Showreels. Their very ambitious action scene climaxes in a Gun Fight with Explosions, Human Torch Fireburns, Car Hits, Motorcycle Stunts, Pyrotechnics and much more. The Course concludes with a glamorous night of awards and ceremony at the Versace Resort, as they graduate from Stunt Academy.
